RMIT Hackathon 2025: Important Information

  1. Date: 20 - 21 October 2025

  2. Time:

    • Melbourne:

        - 20 October: Check-in from 8:45 AM (late arrivals will not be accepted). Competition ends at 6:00 PM (AEDT).

        - 21 October: Please be present by 2:30 PM. The Award and Networking session ends at 5:30 PM.

    • Saigon South & Hanoi:

        - 20 October: Check-in from 8:15 AM - 8:45 AM (late arrivals will not be accepted). Competition ends at 6:00 PM.

        - 21 October: Please be present by 10:30 AM. The Award and Networking session ends at 1:30 PM.

  3. Venue:

Important note:

    • Please be punctual as the judging panel and VIP guests will be present.

    • Dress code: Smart casual.

    • Bring your own water bottle (refill stations available).

Welcome to RMIT Hackathon 2025!

We are thrilled to kick off the 2025 RMIT Hackathon: GenAI & Cyber Security to be held from October 20th to 21st, 2025!

This hackathon invites enthusiastic university students to collaborate and tackle cutting-edge challenges in Generative AI and cybersecurity. Throughout the hackathon, you'll have the opportunity to receive mentorship from industry and university experts, learn new skills, and solve real-world problems. As you embark on this journey, you'll not only preparing for getting job in the relevant areas, you will also have the chance to make a significant impact and contribute to fostering trust and confidence in AI systems.
