What is the motivation of this hackathon and what are areas of competition?
+Cloud infrastructure provides the environment and resources necessary to run large language models (LLMs). Security concerns have arisen regarding the application of LLMs, particularly when integrating external tools and APIs. The AI Security Guide for CISOs identifies key areas for enhancing AI safety, including:
- Model-based attacks
- Data Security Breaches
- AI Supply Chain Attacks
- DoS Attacks on AI
- Social Engineering Attacks
This hackathon will focus on addressing the cyber security concern for adopting LLMs.
Who is eligible and how to organise a team to compete?
+University full-time students, including undergraduates, postgraduates and PhD candidates are welcome to participate in the hackathon. Each group comprises 4 members from the same university, this can be any combination of students' level. Registration starts from 1st September 2025, and will be closed at 10th October 2025.
Note that:
- This hackathon is a face-to-face event, will be held at Melbourne Australia, Saigon South and Hanoi Vietnam between 20th and 21st October 2025.
- The sponsors will provide catering during the 2 days event.
- You need to organise travel and accommodation by yourselves to one of the three venues.
What is the platform for the hackathon, and what skills are required to compete?
+The hackathon will be hosted on Kaggle by SkywardAI Labs https://www.kaggle.com/organizations/skywardai.
Participants can check the discussion forum, read relevant articles to familiar yourself with the open source platform and code implementations.
